Easter Banner

This Easter banner took almost no time to make and most of the materials I already had on hand!

I purchased the wooden Easter letters from Micheal's for about $1.50 a piece then I created the banner using an old book and some left over scrapbook paper.

First I cut a triangle out of the book pages to make this shape.  Then I cut egg shapes out of the scrapbook paper and simply glued then onto the book pages - So simple!

Since I was using a sort of muted color pallet for the eggs I decided to stick with that theme and paint the letters grey - I think the color works really well with the book pages!

I attached everything with hemp string and simply taped it behind the  mirrors on the
fireplace mantel.
